The accuracy of cylindrical roller bearings increases sequentially from 0. For general use, 0 is sufficient, but when used in special conditions or occasions, a precision of 5 or higher is required. Standard cylindrical roller bearings have many sizes and forms. Standard bearings are used in the design of mechanical devices. However, axial load and radial load, etc., are also important factors in choosing a suitable cylindrical roller bearing.
When the ball and needle roller bearings are of the same size, needle roller cylindrical roller bearings usually have higher load capacity and withstand higher vibration and shock loads. The allowable speed is determined according to factors such as the type, size, accuracy, cage type, load, lubrication method, and cooling method of the cylindrical roller bearing. Generally, deep groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for high-speed operation.
The dimensional accuracy and rotational accuracy of cylindrical roller bearings are based on ISO and JIS standards. For machinery that requires high precision and high-speed operation, it is recommended to use cylindrical roller bearings with a precision of 5 or more, while deep groove ball bearings, radial thrust ball bearings or cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for machinery with high running accuracy. Rigidity, when the contact surface of the rolling element and the raceway of the cylindrical roller bearing is pressed, elastic deformation will occur. Some machines need to minimize elastic deformation. Roller bearings produce less elastic deformation than ball bearings.
In addition, in some cases, cylindrical roller bearings are preloaded to increase rigidity. This procedure is usually used for deep groove ball bearings, radial thrust ball bearings and tapered roller bearings. The inner and outer rings are offset, the shaft is bent, the tolerance of the shaft or bearing housing changes, and the misfit will cause the eccentricity of the inner and outer rings.
In order to prevent the eccentric angle from being too large, self-aligning ball bearings, self-aligning roller bearings, or self-aligning bearing seats are the best choices. Voice frequency and torque, rolling bearings are manufactured according to high-precision standards, so the noise and torque are small. Deep groove ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for occasions where low noise and low torque are required.
