1. Selection of bearing type

The bearing model is generally selected by the user's technicians according to the use conditions of the supporting products and the bearing load. The business personnel mainly understand whether the actual load of the user is in line with the requirements. If the load cannot meet the usage requirements, they should advise the customer to change the model as soon as possible, but unless it is a special product, generally there will be no problem in the selection of the model. 

2. Selection of bearing clearance

When purchasing uranium bearings, users generally only inform them of the type and grade, and rarely ask for the clearance of the bearing. They need to understand the service conditions of the bearing, and the bearing speed, temperature, and fit tolerance are directly related to the bearing clearance.

3. Oil selection

The choice of grease is generally based on the special speed of the shaft, temperature resistance, noise requirements and starting torque.

4. Selection of bearing seal type

There are two types of seals: contact seal and non-contact seal. The drag-contact seal has good dustproof performance but large starting force, and the non-contact seal has small starting torque but the sealing performance is not as good as the contact type.

1. Pay attention to the selection and control of shaft and bearing chamber tolerances

After the bearing is pressed into the bearing, it should rotate flexibly without any sense of blockage. If there is obvious inflexibility in rotation, it indicates that the size of the shaft is too large and the tolerance should be lowered. If the bearing is pressed into the shaft and there is an obvious "sand" feeling when turning it by hand, it may be that the tolerance of the shaft is too large or the roundness of the shaft is not good. Therefore, when controlling the tolerance of the shaft and bearing chamber, the roundness should also be controlled well.

2. Pay attention to the assembly method of the bearing

Because the bearing is a high-precision product, improper assembly can easily cause damage to the bearing groove, resulting in damage to the bearing. The bearing should have a special mold during assembly, and it cannot be knocked at will. When pressing into the shaft, only a small circle can bear force, and when pressing a large circle, only a large circle can bear force. Air pressure or hydraulic pressure is required for assembly, and the upper and lower molds must be in a horizontal state during press assembly. If there is any inclination, the bearing channel will be damaged due to force, and the bearing will produce guide noise.

3. Pay attention to prevent assembly of foreign objects

When the bearing is installed on the rotor for dynamic balancing, it is easy for the iron filings generated during dynamic balancing to enter the inside of the bearing, so we] need to do dynamic balancing before installing the bearing. For the convenience of assembly, some manufacturers apply some oil or grease in the bearing chamber to lubricate it, but it is often difficult for the operator to control it well. Easy access to the interior of the bearing along the shaft. The bearing chamber does not need to be oiled or greased. If it must be coated, it must be controlled so that there is no accumulation in the bearing chamber.

4. Pay attention to prevent paint rust

Because the acidic substances volatilized from the insulating paint form corrosive substances at a certain temperature and humidity, the bearing grooves are corroded and the bearings are damaged. So now we can only choose good insulating paint, and after drying and ventilating for a period of time, assemble and use.

5. Pay attention to keep the bearing clean

Even small dust, invisible to the eyes, can have a bad effect on bearings. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the surrounding area clean so that dust does not invade the bearing, let alone foreign matter. It is necessary to prevent foreign matter and dust to keep it clean.

6. Pay attention to the use of appropriate operating tools

Whether it is in the process of installation or disassembly, we must use appropriate tools to avoid replacing existing tools to prevent injury.

7. Use with caution

Bearings are relatively important components, so be careful when using them. Do not give the bearings a strong impact, which will cause scars and indentations, resulting in accidents. In severe cases, it will crack and break, so you must be careful.

In short, when selecting a robot bearing, not only its dynamic rated load should be considered, but also the appropriate value of each structural parameter should be carefully selected. The development of contemporary industrial robots is light and thin, and the bearings need to be installed in a limited space. Therefore, the bearings used in industrial robots should be small in size and light in net weight.
